nI have worked the violent streets of LA for over 3 decades and was thrust into situations requiring immediate action in the face of danger to prevent lives from being lost. While violence is a reality in our society, especially while policing, my ability to stay safe and return home to my family has been dependent on the ability to walk that Thin Blue Line without allowing death's shadow to cross over it. 9 Lives will take you through an account of several encounters, where I have narrowly avoided paying the ultimate sacrifice. As the reader, you will have the ability to live each of these lives as my partner and will have access to the actual 9-1-1 calls, police radio transmission, and body-worn video associated with the expenditure of each life.
